Data Crime

A Nicaraguan company has been convicted of theft of restricted cadastral information (the article is in Spanish, but there's auto-translation available on the page itself). On charges of disclosing confidential information and providing public access to classified information, two employees/ former employees of the Nicaraguan Institute of Land Studies (INETER), could spend eight years and five years in prison. Thanks GSDI.
